We at Tera Probe have been involved in the development of technology dedicated to testing semi-conductor devices ever since our establishment in 2005, and this has resulted in us being fully equipped with production facilities in order to provide our customers with services. Business structures based on the horizontal division of labor that specialize in specific fields are more mainstream in the overseas semi-conductor industry than ever before, and the efficient use of facility investment and technological resources has produced some remarkable results. Tera Probe recognized a movement across to this style of business within Japan as well, and we are therefore working hard to develop our business interests as a testing house. We achieved approximately 30% growth in sales in both fiscal 2006 and fiscal 2007, and this has enabled us to be ranked at the number one position in Japan.
Our core competence lies in the fact that we are able to provide total solutions that cater to the diversified requirements of our customers in such areas as program support, date analysis and high productivity, all of which are based on the technology and know-how that we have built up through our experience in leading-edge mass-production wafer testing for DRAMs. We have now accumulated the testing technology and mass-production know-how for SoCs and micro-computers in addition to memories such as the DRAM, SRAM and Flash memories we have worked on up until now, and we are fully equipped to handle the image sensors and analog-related aspects for these products. By reinforcing our supply chain through tie-ups with assembly partners both at home and abroad, we are able to provide one-stop services.
As we enter the ubiquitous era with a heightened demand for semi-conductor devices and greater importance being placed on testing, all of us at Tera Probe believe that it is our mission to collaborate with our customers in order to develop testing technology that boasts greater efficiency, lower costs and higher levels of reliability, and it is to this end that we are moving steadfastly towards. We will continue to strive relentlessly towards new challenges using the precision technology and services we provide within Japan as the weapons to win over business chances with new customers abroad.
