After assignment, on-the-job training will be mainly provided in accordance with the educational program of the department to which you belong.
After six months of employment, follow-up training will be provided.
This will be an external training program, where you will exchange information with new graduates from other companies.
After that, a "follow-up debriefing" will be held in which you will introduce your responsibilities and report on what you have learned through your work in front of the president, your supervisor, and your fellow employees.

There are so many things in the real world, which you have not yet learned in your school days, that you may feel confused in the beginning. It must be the chance you should consult with your seniors who can help you. You had better ask by yourself “why does that happen?” and enhance your knowledge and skills by thoroughly doing your own research for any matter happening in the workplace.

Tera Probe possesses a wide variety of test programs as a company specializing in semiconductor testing. Since source code for the test program describes not only its operation, but also external communication, hardware control, and anomaly handling, we can sometimes create new ways to solve problems through reading the existing source codes.
I find it interesting to discover new processing methods and ideas by reading source codes in various languages.
-
My Work
I create test programs for memory products and deal with test problems. Creation of test program mainly involves specification study, coding, debugging, and documentation. While the work to deal with test problems may vary depending on the situation, I always make cause investigation and consideration of countermeasures.
-
My Goal
My goal is to be an engineer who can create good test programs. Creating programs is not just writing code but requires knowledge of systems, equipment, jigs and tools, electrical circuits, and operational skills as well as communication skills. I am improving my programing skills day by day so that I can provide better services to our customers.

You had better never mind a ranking of popular companies, but choose a company as your future work by analyzing your own knowledge and skills while considering your future lifestyle. It is important to evaluate a company comprehensively, adding not only basic conditions such as salary and benefits, but also a kind of work, work environment, and relationship. To avoid any shock in reality after joining a company, you had better actively participate in company information sessions and interaction with senior employees.

There are various types of “jigs and tools (i.e. probe cards)” that are indispensable for semiconductor wafer testing, and each has different characteristics. I am challenging myself to learn and operate them very actively, and find it interesting when I am able to contribute to the improvement of testing.
When any issue comes up in my daily work, I consider them in cooperation with customers and probe card manufacturers. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I am able to solve them. I come to understand what I could not understand, which enable myself to discover something new, and then utilize it for improvements.
I believe that the accumulation of these process will lead to my leap forward as an engineer.
-
My Work
I am engaged in evaluation, improvement, and management of probe cards. In addition to those launches, I am trying to improve test results and to gain further trust from customers by proposing to them ideas for improvement of prove cards.
-
My Goal

As I joined the company without knowledge of semiconductors, I did not understand the fun to work until I come to understand my work there. However, as I received “thank you” through my interactions with the engineers and the business partners, I began to think about what I should do to make them happier. As the person in charge of procurement, I coordinate and negotiate with suppliers on a daily basis on how to meet the requirements for purchase (e.g. price, delivery date & specifications) needed by each departments of the company. I feel a great sense of accomplishment when those departments get satisfied as a results of my coordination and negotiation. I find it interesting that the accumulation of these experiences has helped me grow as a person.
-
My Work
As the person in charge of procurement at the Kyushu Operation Center, I am engaged in procurement of materials and equipment necessary for production, arrangements for external calibration of measuring instruments, and management of orders and delivery date for them.
I am also working on providing more options for procurement to everyone in the company by developing new suppliers.
-
My Goal
I would like to work to satisfy the needs of our closest customers: everyone in the company, and then, to satisfy Tera Probe’s customers in front of them. To achieve this, I would like to actively find out what I do not know and to improve my own knowledge.
